How it works

How does a mobile spray tan work?

We come to you. Your technician arrives with professional spray equipment, sets up in a small area of your home or hotel room, matches your shade, applies the tan, and walks you through aftercare before packing up.

You don’t drive anywhere, wait in a lobby, or drive home in loose clothes with a developing tan. You get the appointment where you’ll actually spend the next few hours.

How mobile spray tanning works in Denver

How long does an appointment take?

The spray itself takes only a few minutes per person; setup, shade consultation, and a short dry time make up the rest of the visit. We’ll tell you how long to plan for when we confirm your booking.

Groups take longer because each person is sprayed one at a time. We plan the group schedule with the organizer so nobody waits around half-dressed.

Can you come to my hotel or Airbnb?

Yes. Hotels, short-term rentals, and bridal suites work well as long as there’s a little floor space and you have permission to have a guest in the room.

Tell us about parking, building access, or front-desk check-in when you book. If a venue or building has rules about services on site, please check before the appointment.

How much space do you need?

About the size of a closet floor, roughly 6 by 6 feet, near an outlet, with good light if possible. A bathroom, bedroom, or kitchen corner usually works.

We cover the floor and nearby surfaces before we start. Hard floors are easiest, but carpeted rooms work too.

Is there a travel fee?

Travel is included in the core zone, up to about 10 road miles and 20 minutes away. Farther stops add $25 (Zone 2) or $50 (Zone 3), and anything beyond that is quoted individually.

Fees are per stop, so a group at one address shares a single travel fee. We confirm your zone and full total before your booking is final.

Travel zones and service area

What areas do you serve?

Denver, plus approved surrounding areas that fit within our travel zones. Send your ZIP code when you request a booking and we’ll confirm your zone.

Zones are based on both road miles and drive time from our starting point, which we keep private. A nearby address with a slow drive can land in the next zone.

Your tan

How long does a spray tan last?

Most spray tans look their best for about 5 to 7 days and then fade gradually. How long yours lasts depends on your skin, your prep, and how you care for it afterward.

Hot showers, long baths, swimming, heavy sweating, and exfoliating all speed up fading. Moisturizing daily with a gentle, oil-free lotion helps it fade evenly.

Aftercare guide

How do I prepare for a spray tan?

Shave or wax and exfoliate 24 to 48 hours before, then arrive with clean, dry skin: no lotion, deodorant, makeup, or perfume on the day.

Have loose, dark clothing and slip-on shoes ready for afterward, and tie long hair up.

Full prep checklist

What should I wear during and after my spray tan?

Wear whatever you’re comfortable in during the spray: undergarments, a swimsuit, or nothing. Afterward, wear loose, dark clothing and slip-on shoes until your first rinse.

Tight waistbands, bra straps, leggings, and socks can rub or mark a developing tan. The guide color can transfer onto light fabrics, so skip white clothing and pale sheets until you rinse.

When can I rinse off my spray tan?

A Signature tan needs several hours to develop, so many people book in the evening and rinse the next morning. Your technician confirms your exact rinse time at the appointment.

Your first rinse should be lukewarm water only, with no soap, scrubbing, or shampoo on your body. Pat dry gently. The guide color rinses away and the developed tan stays.

First-rinse instructions

What is a rapid-rinse spray tan?

Rapid-Rinse ($105) uses a faster-developing solution, so you can rinse sooner instead of waiting overnight. How long you wait depends on the depth you want, and your technician gives you a specific rinse time at the end of your appointment.

The color keeps developing for several hours after you rinse, so the final shade shows up later that day. It suits morning appointments, travel days, and anyone who’d rather not sleep in a developing tan.

Can I work out or swim after a spray tan?

Wait until after your first rinse to work out, and ideally a day or two after that before heavy sweating, hot yoga, saunas, or swimming.

Sweat can streak a tan that is still developing. Chlorine and salt water speed up fading, so rinse off and moisturize after swimming.

Does a spray tan protect me from the sun?

No. A spray tan is not sunscreen and gives no protection from UV rays. Keep using sunscreen and sun protection as you normally would.

This matters in Denver, where the high altitude means stronger UV exposure. A spray tan changes the color of your skin’s surface; it does not change how your skin reacts to the sun.

Weddings and groups

When should I get a spray tan before my wedding?

Most people get their wedding tan 1 to 2 days before the ceremony and a trial tan a few weeks earlier. The trial settles your shade and shows you how your skin takes the color.

Our Bridal Trial + Wedding Visit ($190) includes both visits. Plan the trial before your final dress fitting if you can.

Do you do spray tan parties and groups?

Yes. Group Glow is $70 per person for 4 or more people at the same address. For two people, Duo Glow is $160 total.

One organizer books for the group and shares a headcount. We plan a schedule so each person is sprayed one at a time while everyone else gets ready.
